ESP32-WROVER-IB is a general-purpose Wi-Fi + BT + BLE MCU module. It is powerful and versatile. It can be used for low-power sensor networks and demanding tasks, such as voice encoding, audio streaming, and MP3 decoding .
The ESP32-WROVER-B module is equipped with 4 MB SPI flash and 8 MB SPI PSRAM.
The chip used in ESP32-WROVER-IB is ESP32-D0WD * of ESP32 series. The ESP32-D0WD chip is scalable and adaptive. Two CPU cores can be controlled separately. The CPU clock frequency can be adjusted from 80 MHz to 240 MHz. The user can power off the CPU and use a low-power coprocessor to monitor peripheral status changes or whether certain analog quantities exceed thresholds.
ESP32 also integrates a variety of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, SD card interfaces, Ethernet interfaces, high-speed SPI, UART, I 2 S, and I 2 C, and more.
The module integrates traditional Bluetooth, Bluetooth low energy and Wi-Fi, which has a wide range of uses: Wi-Fi supports a wide range of communication connections, and also supports direct Internet connection through a router; and Bluetooth allows users to connect to mobile phones or broadcast BLE Beacon for easy signal detection.
The ESP32 chip`s sleep current is less than 5 ¥ìA, making it suitable for battery-powered wearable electronic devices. The module supports data transmission rates up to 150 Mbps and antenna output power up to 20 dBm, enabling the largest range of wireless communication. Therefore, this module has industry-leading technical specifications and has excellent performance in terms of high integration, wireless transmission distance, power consumption, and network connectivity.
ESP32`s operating system is freeRTOS with LwIP, and it also has built-in TLS 1.2 with hardware acceleration. The chip also supports OTA encryption upgrade, which is convenient for users to continue to upgrade after the product is released.
